No. 21 SCAD men’s golf finishes sixth at Ram Invitational

QUICK SWING: The No. 21 ranked SCAD men’s golf team finishes sixth at the 2020 Ram Invitational hosted by the University of Mobile.

TOURNAMENT INFO: The two-day, three round tournament, takes place at Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course – par 72 and 7024 yards. Day one consists of rounds one and two with the third round taking place on day three.
 
TEAM SCORE: The Bees finished the tournament with a three-round score of 900 (+36; 301, 305, 294).
 
INDIVIDUAL SCORES: Alejandro Guillen (Mexico City, Mexico / Advertising) moved up two spots on day two to finish in fifth with a score of 217 (+1; 75, 71, 71).
 
William Nimmo (Durham, England / Industrial Design) tied for 15th with a score of 223 (+7; 75, 76, 72) while Gabriel Velasco (Porto Alegre, Brazil / Architecture) finished in 29th after shooting a 230 (+14; 75, 78, 77).
 
Nick Axelson (Roxbury Township, N.J. / Industrial Design) and Juan Diego Perez (Quito, Ecuador / Architecture) are tied for 30th and tied for 39th with their respective scores of 231 (+15; 76, 80, 75) and 244 (+28; 86, 82, 76).
 
WHAT’S NEXT? The Bees will remain in Mobile, Ala. for the final round of the Ram Invitational on Tuesday, February 25.
