GREENVILLE, S.C. – The field for the 2020 Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship was unveiled after the conclusion of conference regular season play on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020.
The 2020 Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will officially start on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 with higher seeded institutions hosting quarterfinal matchups for the right to advance to the semifinals at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday, March 7, 2020. The championship games of the 2020 Conference Carolinas Basketball Championships will be held in Spartanburg on Sunday, March 8, 2020.
King is the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship. The Tornado closed out their conference campaign with a 14-6 record. King is 22-6 overall on the 2019-20 season.
Belmont Abbey closed out the regular season in the midst of a seven-game winning streak to secure the No. 2 seed in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship. The Crusaders will host seventh-seeded Mount Olive.
Defending tournament champion Emmanuel is the No. 3 seed and will play host to sixth-seeded Barton. Southern Wesleyan is the fourth seed. The Warriors will host Lees-McRae in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship quarterfinals.
