CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Emmanuel women’s swimming team claimed their second straight Conference Carolinas Conference Championship on Sunday night at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.
During the four-day event, the Lady Lions finished with 13 conference champions, 13 school records, and four conference records.

In the post-meet ceremony, Allen Gilchrest was named the Conference Carolinas Conference Women’s Coach of the Year. Additionally, Karolina Ostojska was honored as the CC Female Swimmer of the Meet.
The Lady Lions now turn their attention to the 2020 NCAA Division II National Championships in Geneva, Ohio on March 11-14 at the Spire Institute.
